Are there any good local multiplayer games that are downloadable on 360? I was bummed to find that all of the well praised games in that vein from this year (samurai gunn, nidhogg, towerfall) are all being ported to new consoles.
I could move my PC into the living room but I don't have that many wired 360 controllers.
- The main questline is comprehensible! I won't spoil it, but the story isn't relegated to item descriptions and in the endgame its actually quite explicit. I literally had no idea what I was doing in DS1 apart from collecting boss souls.
I'm in the same boat as Vinny. Towards the end of the game, primarily past Drangleic castle, I lost the thread. The Emerald Herald didn't need to be as cryptic as she was, and I feel like they missed a few chances to better engage the player in the world. Honestly, I wouldn't have minded some hot exposition at the various points you meet her. If anything I felt like they built her up to be the one NPC who really knew what was going on, but they never cash in on it. I stumbled into the last boss completely oblivious it was the last boss. I forgot about that King's ring door, and this was after I had to check a faq to find out what to do with the ashen mist heart.
I just started my second play through with a new character and I currently I'm at the Bastille. Character is a caster/boxer. All I can say is that the Caestus absolutely trivializes the first three areas. Just stun locking everything in sight. And the enemies that don't get stunned... weak to strike!
