My first build used a discounted gigabyte motherboard. Turns out Micro-ATX is really fucking small and the video card I bought completely covered the SATA ports.

Thank god for right angle SATA connectors.

Character action games. Picked up steam versions of DmC and METAL GEAR RISING REVENGEANCE (I swear it appears in all caps in my library).

Already beat DmC which was fuckin' killer, and now I'm playing through Revengeance which is noticeably harder after playing through the normal difficulty campaign of DmC. DmC seems rather hand-holdy in contrast with Revengeance, mostly in the way they introduce new moves.

If those files were the source of the BSOD then you can guarantee the GPU or GPU Drivers are the cause here. Consider loading older GPU drivers if you can't find new ones.

I recommend looking for the latest driver updates for your graphics card. Uninstall any current GPU drivers along with Catalyst Control Center before installing new ones. Be prepared to use video output from the MoBo, just in case.

Go download BlueScreenView.exe, it reads minidump files and should point you in the direction of the offending Software/Hardware.

CNET Download

"How are the boob physics."

Procedurally generated.

Yes, even if the game was simply "see the jaw-dropping pretty" of infinite worlds, I feel like that would be all the hook I'd need at least for a fashion. I do kind of wish there was less vagaries with the talk about the game though, and if they wanted to intentionally keep it vague as part of the gameplay hook of discovery, just say that.

Somebody get me the feed of procedurally created boob GIFs being taken by the AIs running around the known NMS universe to make sure the boobs aren't too similar.

Anybody else want the original game remade in 3D so it doesn't look so artificial?

That sounds good but Nintendo is not much of a remake company

That's supposed to be a funny joke, right?

This is part of the daily steam sale right now so I figure it's a good time to see if the GB guild is still active. Are there still some regular players out there? How has the game panned out since launch? Would you recommend it?

Yeah, Cube World is kind of a joke, I don't know that it's been updated ever. Towns is another obvious choice for worst, considering the developers have completely abandoned it.

Not sure what the story with Cube World is, but I enjoyed many hours with Towns. The original devs are still active in the forums and have stated they will be working to put the final polish on the game. There is a well known thread about one of the devs admitting being burnt out on the project which was the low point in the development history, but this mainly had to do with their eyes being bigger than their stomachs (planned game features being food). The next patch is supposedly adding a campaign and tutorial which is something I would like to see.

All that being said, it is still a game a would recommend to people who enjoy resource gathering/civ management/exploration style games.
