Damn you, Tricky. I'm alway drunk and tired when you post the best stuff. (Most of us have a day of here in sweden tomorrow, Ascension Day. That's why I'm drunk and tired.)
Running is great. But as with any exercise, you always have to be honest about how hard you're really pushing yourself. After a few weeks you WILL need to increase the intensity (especially with jogging/running I've noticed. You get better fast). I see a lot of overweight joggers in the tracks, and funny enough it's been the same people for the past years. I bet they're telling themselves that the 30-40 min trudge every weekday will do wonders someday. I bet it will not, as harsh as that sounds. So don't be scared to raise the bar significantly if needed. That's my tip.
Oh, and I agree that good shoes is key. And don't forget to drink plenty of water.
I liked it quite a bit too. The lore seems fleshed out and the story elements were interesting (something you can't say about most MMO's). I also liked the leveling system. No character levels and I can get new skills wherever I am in the world. And there's not a ton of loot so you rarely need to go back to town to sell stuff. All in all, the game moved along pretty fluidly.
@Christoffer: Looks interesting. Still know nothing about that game though.
In one way it's very similar to most MMO's, from what I've played of it anyways. But there's some fresh mechanics that sets it apart. Most obvious is the character progression and the skill system. Good VO and nice cutscenes too (though the graphics looks a bit dated in motion). I think I will try some more when it comes out.
Baldurs Gate aren't that complex from what I can remember. I never finnished Torment. But I will wholeheartedly recommend Baldurs Gate II. For some reason, Icewind Dale never hooked me, even if I finnished them.
