All of that sweet misinformation about romance novels. Twilight and Fifty Shades have the most generic looking non-descript covers, apart from the move tie-in ones which just feature the cast. Those terrible JS Cooper novels with the Men's Health looking covers are mostly out of sight. They aren't prominently displayed, they are almost never on best selling lists and they also don't pretend to be a mainstream thing. The men in those novels are almost always well-characterized which isn't at all the case for video game sexy babes. The last time I walked into a bookstore to a display of Fabio looking dudes holding damsels in front of a burning building was 15 years ago. Books in general also don't suffer from a lack of well-written male protagonists. The comparison between books and video games is lacking on all fronts there and shouldn't be done at all.

Welcome to Unfurlington. A retirees wet dream. There's a church, a bunch of sheep, lots of firewood. And only one person under the age of 40. That's why I built a cemetary.

I had a pretty good run there. Everything was running sweet. I was making the highest quality clothes and tools and then everybody decided that fucking wasn't worthwhile anymore. Maybe I shouldn't have built the church so close to the herbalist.

Turns out that young couples need their own house to start a new family. Or something. So I panicked and built a bunch of them. Only to find out that the age of my little fake men and women matters. The last fertile woman in town couldn't pick up the slack. I gave up when I dropped down from 25 old people to 4 and the 2 newborns, and everything just fell apart.. No one left to take care of the sheep, chop firewood, hunt or make new clothes. Just one family of six. Sitting in a cold, dark room. Naked, freezing, starving.

My father bought our first PC when I was six. My first games were Monkey Island 2 and Wolfenstein 3D.

I put a list together a few years ago. That brought some weird memories back. Had to look up some titles. I always thought The Games: Winter Challenge was called Winter Games. I remember getting Sleepwalker because the boxart looked ace. I could barely make it to the second level. Maybe I should revisit that.

I thought the gameplay demo looked alright. Pre-ordered the PC version yesterday for like 22 bucks. That could as well be nothing.

I don't know. I never use any. I just keep these mighty godlike beasts that wield powers of time and space in box 29 and 30 and never look at them.

Yeah, the tags seem like a really cool and useful idea. Can't have such a thing without people ruining it. They're not even using the Not a Game tag right. Why are Saints Row IV and Hospital Tycoon on there? Hospital Tycoon is broken garbage but it's still a game.
