Mine was pretty lush and beautiful with resources pretty close. Also hopping blancmanges and really sweet half dinosaur, half dogs things that whimpered and ran when you got close. Less keen on the giant insects in the caves that meant I had to learn how to put together a gun fairly quickly.

Just started playing today.

To get a kill with it against a pilot you need to see them long before they see you. It also has a fairly limited range which helps reduce how effective it is. I am enjoying it as I can't aim at a barn door and it lets me be somewhat helpful to my team but I imagine anyone with even okay aim would probably be better off with the rifle.

BertieFilibuster. Only just started playing and I am rather useless at FPS but this has just enough that I'm not a total ball and chain on my team.

The random crashes and the lack of friend leaderboards are the only things that are nagging away for me. Both hopefully can be patched. The controls do have a learning curve and I find myself tying to jump with X in a panic due to the years of Tony Hawk's but when you get them going on a fluid run they really sing. I've just done an entire stage in one combo for the first time and it felt as slick and beautiful as anything. Assuming that feeling holds I can see it joining Spelunky as a daily 20 minutes I want to do no matter what.

I'm awful at this so a bit of friendly competition might give me the push to improve.
