It's highly recommended i say , i don't see a reason other than time constraints really. DS1 players will have an undeniable better time with DS3 right of the bat due to the feel of the game. DS3 is welcoming to any player at the start, you will get a good experience regardless if you simply can't do it right now.

After watching roughly half of the story mode in an english live stream, i have to holy shit at the amount of text. It's absolutely not a bad thing at all because you get to hear what each characters thoughts on this situation is.

The joke paths are kinda funny but it seems more like something arc sytem works wanted to do rather than atlus.

I felt really nostalgic whenever persona 3 music started playing. Interesting to know Mitsuru and Akihiko don't need their evokers to summon their personas. Seeing the picture of the shadow operatives makes me kind of hope that the next persona game might get into it more.I still have no idea why Elizabeth is there yet but i have not read anything about her story either.

Yes there was full on Tournament for Catherine multiplayer at a Fighting game Tournament and it was streamed with commentary, which is by the way absolutely incredible. They were throwing around fighting game terms while the players tried to crush each other under blocks. It´s absolutely amazing
