Club Nintendo still sucks in America.

Hey, remember when Club Nintendo came to America and was supposed to be really awesome?  I'm still waiting for the awesomeness.  I'm now looking at what all you UK Nintendo fans have to purchase with your stars and I see a Mario Galaxy kite, T-shirts, hats, CDs, Points Cards, even ringtones.  Japan gets some pretty awesome stuff like that controller on the right there.  So what about the people of North America where the majority of Wii and DS reside?  Bupkis!  Alright, if you've got a DS and 800 points, you can get yourself the Game & Watch Collection, but for me, a simple Wii owner?  Nothing special, really.  Currently I have 360 points which doesn't seem like a lot considering that I have a pretty decent collection of games and a ton of downloadable games... yet little to show for it.  I can now buy a Wii Remote Holder... yep, a small, plastic sack for my controllers.  Eh, I feel like Nintendo is missing an opportunity here and I want to see the swag the Europeans and Japanese get.  I don't want some playing cards.  I'll save for the fucking kite!

Hell, just sell a retro SNES Classic Controller here in the states and I'll be fine.
