The majority of us turn to Giant Bomb, Metacritic, IGN, any place for instant review score gratification, but Twitter is full of people who have no idea what Giant Bomb is or 15 year old Justin Bieber fanatics. So yes, there are lots of people with opinions about games. For example, people are talking about PowerGig... er, I mean Tony... wait wait wait, I mean Kinect. FUCK! I MEAN GOLDENEYE! So what are they saying? Here's a sample.
So my final review of Goldeneye:007 on the wii...If you want a GREAT shooter on the Wii,then yes a total but if your multiconsole,its a rent

They remade Goldeneye for Wii. It looks almost as bad as it did as one of the first N64 games. Give up Nintendo.

Well that backfired. People like it. I gotta admit the positive reviews and feedback are surprising. I mean, a shooter on the Wii with online play and loosely based on the one of the most celebrated shooters of all-time? The odds were against it being good, but kudos to Activision for doing God's work.
Still not biting, though. I only have room for like 4 or 5 games before the year ends.
And as a final note before this blog concludes for the week, I finally beat Bioshock saving all the little brats. A fantastic journey that rivals any game this generation, but the destination was disappointing. All that buildup for a mediocre boss battle and a 2 minute cutscene. Oh well, now I can finally play Bioshock 2... but not now. I'm all Raptured out.
