GOTY 2016
At this point this is simply a list of every 2016 game I have played in alphabetical order. I am also including games which released on a new platform in 2016 if I played it on said new platform.

Everything about this looked stupid and obnoxious. That said, I downloaded it and gave it a shot anyway because it was free with PS+. The levels are all really short and is easy to pick up and play. I have been having a blast playing through coop. The characters all being action movie stars is also great. Where else can you play as Blade and the Terminator in the same game?

The PS4 release was this year so fuck you it counts. This game is still really damn good. Mercenaries mode is as fun as ever. Some of the best third person combat ever in a non-Platinum game.

It is really disappointing that the combat in these games has evolved more at this point. It is barely any different than Lego Star Wars which came out over a decade ago. I also don't care for simply inserting movie lines as the dialogue. I would have preferred they rerecord the dialogue and tweak the lines every now and again to make it fit. That said, there aren't many options when it comes to Marvel video games so I will take what I can get.

I got right up to the castle and then stopped. This game is still a lot of fun but The Evil Within is better in literally every way. If I was going to replay a game in this style, it would be that one.

Trying to play this after having just played RE6 is nigh impossible. The controls are too frustrating.

After Battlefront I told myself I wouldn't waste $60 on a game with barebones content again. And here I am less than half a year later doing the same shit. The gameplay is ok but holy shit there is like no content here.
