Western fantasy RPGs have been a little disappointing to me if you look at Game of Thrones or Dragon's Dogma, so I tend to be a little sceptical as well...

Dragon's Dogma was not a western RPG or even a western style RPG, you're a crazy person.

Oh man that big post on GAF cleared up some ancient mysteries from my youth about Soul Reaver, I remember seeing all those walled off areas and I'm sure there were some cheat codes to load up the extra reaver blades, drove my young mind crazy, now I can finally rest...

I guess the same things you'd suggest to a male friend who wasn't that into games.

Like others have said, without the people who made the games it's not Black Isle.
