@Adziboy: In an interview with Gamasutra, Jack Tretton said PSN traffic is at 90% of the pre-hack levels. Which is different from saying 10% of PS3 owners have not logged back in. Nonetheless, it's going to be an expensive year for Sony and time will tell how this will influence the consumer's choice in the next generation of consoles.
@Red12b: If only PD would've put in the promised youtube support. There isn't much to see on the replay though. Apart from a few connection glitches (on my Tokyo replay, Dev disappears and spawns again right in front of me on the straight), the racing seems to be a hell of a lot smoother after patch 1.10. I'm not sure if it's because we've been doing one-make races or if they actually optimized the network code.
@StaticFalconar: Awesome vid. We should definitely do a full Nordschleife some day with suitable cars. At night. In the rain! (For the record, I'm joking about the rain.)
Edit: @Binman88: Cheers for sharing the tuning. I'll try the setup one of these days. I never know what the hell I'm supposed to do with the LSD, I'm no Hunter S Thompson.
@JBird: I'm no help here, but you could run a test under Network Settings. This will provide you with info on your estimated upload and download speeds as well as NAT type and whether you have a wired or wireless connection. Adding that info to your post might help the tech wizards to determine the cause. Good luck.
Why not present them with a counter argument? As you said, your friend hasn't educated herself very well about games, why not help her, instead of getting pissed off? The solution to your problems seem relatively simple.
@ghorun: We've been in that corner on Suzuka before with a different outcome, despite the spin I had a blast. I've did my fair share of bumping myself, looking at the replays. I launched Stoop way off the track on Nurburg only to get a delayed collision penalty on Madrid for being bumped myself (wtf?).
@Red12b: I don't know what was going on at Nurburg, but it seems you were inside of my 458 for half a lap. On the replay you're driving next to me, but during the race I couldn't see you as my car was making some scary noises. Some good, fierce dueling overall. The Italia's seem to be a good testimony of picking the right drivingline as drafting isn't doing shit.
@FrankCanada97: Will there be a PP restriction for the Italia's? Standard they stand at 558 PP, with aero parts installed and maximum downforce set it ramps up to about 570 PP, excluding breaking in the engine.
Also: could we do Toscana at sunset/night instead of Eifel?
