Man, im getting sick of films trying to get by on their special effects alone, mind you, that's nothing new (see Independence Day and Twister) But then again, i should probably put that cynicism aside to say we really shouldn't judge the film on a mere trailer, if its the kind of film that just doesn't interest you (as is my case) then don't watch it, but i guess we cant just berate it without knowing too much about it (no matter how easy that seem) plus, the disaster films people have been talking about may not have been the best films, but at least most were good for a laugh or two (even if its at their expense) so it may be worth a chance, even if its entire premise seems to be based on the misinterpretation of a theory (again, nothing new in the world of Hollywood). wow, that was surprisingly positive of me, must have woke up on the right side of the bed for once.
