Two months later, the drought is still very real. My PS4 started acting funky on Thursday, so I thought to myself, "I'll just pick up a Pro on Friday and be dome with it." Nope, all the stores in my area are sold out with no ETA on a restock. And most online retailers look like they're out, with only 3rd party resellers offering any stock. WTF?

That said, do I even need a Pro? I don't give a damn about 4K gaming, I only want something quiet and stable to play my games and media discs on a 1080 set. On paper, it looks like the Pro will be a waste of money, and it turns out, effort on my part.

So, I wanted to rewatch some old GB content where they compare the Pro to an OG PS4, and can't find any? Am I crazy, did I imagine a video where the guys played games side by side on a PS4 Pro and vanilla? I wan't to say there was Destiny in it? A raid maybe? Anyone have any idea of what I'm talking about?

I think the folks trackside cheering when Rosberg's engine exploded were just happy to see SOMETHING happened. That was a dull-ass race. It's nice to see a Ferarri driver on the podium, but he'd been there since the start of the race. That tire tyre pressure business was odd at the end, and I did like how the drivers were told to shut the fuck up and don't ask questions, but it wasn't enough. I should have stayed in bed.

I've used Virtualbox, VMWare Player and DOSBox for virtualization, but have had limited success for gaming applications. The hardware virtual machine extensions on CPU's work fantastically with VM software for processing power, but anything more complicated than software rendering shits the bed in a VM. I've had games that require 512 MB VRAM crawl along at single digit frame rates inside a VM with gigs of system RAM. Sadly VM extensions for dedicated GPU's don't exist yet. Unless you're playing DOS games in a Win 98 VM, I'd quit while ahead.

Another dull 1-2, but the race behind them was a lot of fun. Shame about Pastor, we could have had even more fireworks back there. And maybe I'm jut being mean spirited, but I'm glad it wasn't Vettel on the podium again.

I've been a Linux user since 1999. Started with Red Hat 6.1, currently using Fedora 22. Like most others have said, mainly for work, and for security reasons. My main fuck around machine at home is Windows 10.

And even though you said it doesn't count, I count Android as Linux. Been rocking it since '09. 2.3 is still my favorite version.

We go from nothing to overload again. F1 this Sunday morning, along with Indycar and United Sportscar Championship races in the afternoon. Except the USC and Indycar races overlap. Crap. These racing guys really need to coordinate the timing of their events better.

@gatehouse: Oops, my bad. I should have realized it was a different survey since Kimi was second in popularity.

Autosport dot com published the results of that GPDA survey, and this graphic made me laugh more than it should have:

To be fair, there was also a graphic showing that the majority of fans wouldn't quit even if Ferrari quit.
