60$ in French Canadia so thats 68,34$ with our ridiculous taxes and there's also the occasional Warner nonsense of 70$ as was the case for Mortal Kombat.

Try living in Scandinavia with 25% sales-tax :P

Pretty much this! Norway is one expensive fucking country!

I love the fact that no one has said anything about "PC VS CONSOLES" yet, we all feel the pain when it comes to pricing it seems.

Console games are about £40, but I tend to buy online for £30 - £35. PC games can be anything from £15 - £35, with about £25 being the norm. PC gaming is a much cheaper option for me.

Yeah i forgot to say that,i was talking about console games, although i only play on the PC, but PC games cost like 10$ less here in Norway, so it's still like 96$ for a new PC game..

It's a simple question really, how much do games cost in your country?
I see alot of talk about 60$ games being expensive and this is really weird to me..
I know that in Australia they cost 120$ and here in norway they are about 106$..
So what do you guys think, is 60$ too much to ask? imo, no it's not, whenever
I see 60$ games online I think "ooh damn, thats a bargain"

it's not really ruining the experience if it's the experience you want to have.. i mean, this kind of game is about doing whatever you want, and well if that's what you want then that's what you want :)

How is DRM different than Steam?

well in my opinion there's a huge diffrence, you can use steam offline for one thing (ofcourse not the multiplayer games, but you get the point). Secondly i also think that the way they do it is as good as it gets, the only time you have to hassle with the "DRM" is just when you type in the cdkey (unless the game is on GFWL or like from dust, on ubisofts own stuff) and it leaves you alone after that, it also doesn't deny you to play the game on diffrent computers, just download it again and there you go you play the game. I may be biased just because i love steam, and how it works but then again there must be a reason i love it, right?

Spotify is great, I've been using it for a few years. Before I always downloaded through torrent sites because of comfortability. But Spotify is way better. Instant streaming, phone support, wide library, ability to play music from your own hard drive if the music isn't on Spotify, great UI, takes minimal cpu power. And no, I am not a PR head... It's just a great service, one I would recommend.
