As far as MLB games go they only show the ESPN Sunday/Monday night games through the ESPN3 app. So if you're out of your favorite teams broadcast region then you'll have to pick up some type of sports package through your cable/satellite provider. A friend of my is a huge Dodgers fan but couldn't see any of the games from here in Chicago-land, so that's what he did. Personally I like ESPN on the XBox. Seen a lot of basketball and boxing, and I can pause. =P
I'm not buying anything DLC related till they fix the damn online component. I haven't played that much of it because it's lag-tastic every time I fire it up. It's sad too because WB and NRS were going on about how the netcode was fantastic and how great it would be. I don't have problems with any of my other fighting games, just this one.

That's the first thing that popped into my head as well. The UMK3 that was released for XBLA a few years back didn't let us customize the controls. I use a stick and a fight pad. I'm assuming that it will since WB and NRS are involved with this and the old release was published by Midway. But if it doesn't than no sale.
This was the line that was posted on the official MK forums on April 28th:

In the meantime please note that none of this will impact the single-player or offline multiplayer experience, and we greatly appreciate your patience!"
So hopefully pretty soon. I haven't played that much online and would like to very much without getting kicked from a match right when I start a kombo.
