I've done 2 midnight launches (MW2 and KZ2). Both were awkward and it was justa bunch of shy nerds in a line, everyone eager to go back home and play the game.
Nowadays I just order from Amazon. A couple of extra hours of waiting is nothing major in my book, especially after years of anticipation.
Had mine for 3 weeks (4GB) and I love it. Two problems though.
One is that the disk drive is really loud during Halo and Gears (you can install Gears but not Halo), especially if it's in the vertical position. Second, you need a damn HDD to play Firefight. If I knew that I would have bought the 250GB SKU!
