Amateur Encyclopedia Bombastica: Godzilla: Save the Earth

I grew up on Godzilla movies and always wanted a really good game that let me play as famous monsters like Mothra, Mechagodzilla, and Rodan. Well, I got a game. Godzilla: Save the Earth is the second game in a "fighting game"..."trilogy". It has most the monsters you would care about and is probably passable enough for fans of the series, aside from those awful mini-games which you'll see.

So watch me try and piece together 50 years of stupid Godzilla fiction and get my ass kicked by shitty UFOs.

It's not an "Xbox One" game.

That aside, keep on quick lookin' everything. I've been thinking about getting in on some of this action myself at some point.

@video_game_king: Yeah, I could probably do with expanding that list a bit from just a dozen. But then I could probably do with actually talking about the ones I have before thinking of adding more.

But these AEBs are great. Did you run out of Xbox 360 launch games to cover? I recall that being the theme for the first few.

I hope someone can convince the other former interns to get into this. At least the ones that aren't working for Rival Video Game Website. Which... I guess is just Bodega, who is already on Daily DOTA all the time.

I made a Perfect Dark Zero video that ended up getting scrapped for quality reasons. I just got hands on a copy of Kameo I'll be doing something with.

Those mini games were awful. But having watched a bunch the Scrublords videos on YouTube, the fighting in this actually looks maybe ok for what it is. Anyway enjoyed the video.

The mini games do not compliment the mechanics at all. Terrible!

Watched this again to see if I should buy it before the movie.

Thanks for explaining the Godzilla movies so I don't have to. Godzilla '98 > all!

EDIT: I loved Kameo, but it was the only game I had to play on my 360 after winning it from that Mountain Dew Every10Minutes thing, so maybe my view is twisted.

@markjw: Looking back on this video, I don't know what my extreme level of Godzilla knowledge means.
