  • WIBBLY WOBBLY TIMEY WIMEY MOTHER FUCKER. WOW. THIS GAME. SO GOOD. People talked so much shit about the TV show in between segments, BUT I. WAS. SO. HERE. FOR. IT. Was it the best time travel story ever? No. Was it very well executed? YES. The gameplay added a unique spin to things and I immensely enjoyed it. The only downside is that we may never get a sequel.

  • Like Forza Motorsport 4 perfecting what was done in FM3, the same can be said for Horizon 4. The previous game was fantastic, looked gorgeous, and was supported by stellar DLC. Horizon 4 polishes the presentation aspects of the game and provides an even better looking environment to drive around in. The addition of an always live world with other players driving around is exactly what this series needed to make it feel complete. And on top of that, Microsoft/Turn 10/Playground have FINALLY put out a Forza game that runs not only well, but exceptional on PC. Playing FH4 at 4K/60fps is absolutely stunning. Horizon 3 set a high bar for the series, so Horizon 4 being a little bit better across the board doesn't make as big of an impact. Even still, I'm having tons of fun in what is now unquestionably the premiere Forza series.

  • Yooooooooooooooo. YOOOOOOOOOOOOO. From "that one mission" onwards it's just a gd roller coaster. I stayed up late because I couldn't put it down after that. Wow. If this game retained the first person view when you enter titans it'd be perfect. Falling short of that, it went above and beyond to deliver an amazing single player campaign, and built on the already amazing multiplayer.

  • Was it real?! Was it just another episode of Night Springs?! WHO KNOWS!!! "Alan Wake's journey though the night will continue." I truly hope so. A little flirting with time travel before Remedy's Quantum Break, this small game was meant to feel a little bigger with a cool twist in its story. I loved Alan Wake, so I ate up this bite sized continuation(?) of the story. It also provides my favorite Old Gods of Asgard song yet! WHEN BALANCE SLAYS THE DEMON, YOU'LL FIND PEACE!

  • This game is still a god damn classic, and now it looks even better! There are a lot of remasters of amazing games that get totally ruined (see Batman, Bioshock, etc.), but this is not one of those. With the way console technology is going, this remaster ensures that one of the greatest games of all time is playable in 4K so long as the current platforms continue to exist, and that's amazing.

  • Loved the ending (finished it on V-Day), it was very fitting. I wasn't the biggest fan of the gameplay, and I brute forced encounters as much as I could. That being said, everything looked and sounded amazing. Another phenomenal soundtrack from Darren Korb.

  • This is a good video game ass video game. I've only played one or two of the GBA Metroid games, but this is the first I have finished. As someone that likes Metroidvanias, I'm happy that I've actually played through an entire Metroid game now! I loved all the detail in the background going on as you moved through the different areas. I really dug some of the soundtrack too. It was quite challenging in some spots, and I had to look up some walkthroughs, but they still didn't help me in actually executing! Despite wanting to throw my 3DS during some boss battles, I felt rewarded when I finally took down a new Metroid form or the one off bosses.

  • THIS IS SO EFFING COOL. VR JUSTIFIED. This is essential the VR version of Guitar Hero. It needs more songs, for sure, but the experience of playing this game is unlike any other. Wow!

  • Lots of good quality of life additions to the game this year. FINALLY it can pull in walking data in the background. I also really enjoyed the addition of community day once a month which features a certain pokemon for a few hours with a special move.

  • PEW PEW. The first game played pretty well, but I wanted much more from it. The story in this went about as expected, more or less. I enjoyed it. The multiplayer is pretty cool too. I wish the customization options were far greater, but hey, at least I'll be getting my 501st armor soon enough!

  • The first time I loaded up this game I was recruited by a group of pirates to take on the Megaladon, and we took on that boat sized shark until we were victorious. It was amazing. But between those amazing moments is... nothing. There's *something* here, and it's great. And it looks spectacular! But it's still lacking a lot of structure. Also, it's not fun to play solo at all, which is a big con for me.

  • This is one weird ass game. I'm still not entirely sure what to think of it. I do know that the enemy design was very unique and the music was also pretty sweet too.

  • I was a tad disappointed by this game. Yes, it's still a LEGO game, so I wasn't expecting anything mind blowing. But after the LEGO Marvel game I played a couple years ago I was expecting a bit more from the story. Sure, there were some good moments, but I don't think it was as good as compared to the Marvel one I played.
