One of the reasons playing with a controller is so much better is because it's harder to misclick and do things like move when you meant to open a door.
This comment seems to be completely devoid of sense of humor. I love Xcom and I love dan's approach of basically not actually trying very hard. It seems a bunch of other xcom fans here take the game so seriously that they cant watch someone play it in a non-serious way. Why do you care if they run out of troops or lose? That's the whole point of the series, that they cant communicate with each other or really give each other feedback. and to get all worked up about a fucking renaming... you realize abby or alex can easily just change his name back, right? the story here isnt just the game, its how each individual player has different priorities and how they conflict. If I wanted to just watch some people play xcom (which I dont) id do it on youtube. this is far more interesting.
Just imagine people looking at actual exquisite corpse artwork, and criticizing it on the same grounds that Dan is being criticized for. "The top half of this drawing is a house, and the bottom half is a mermaid! The guy who drew the bottom part totally ruined this perfectly good drawing of a house!"
Well, no. It's more like Dan erased the mermaid and drew the rest of the house, so now it's just a picture of a house that Dan drew.
Maybe on the next "Steal My Sunshine" Dan will just eat everyone else's gumballs. It's okay though, they're just having fun playing video games it's not serious guys!
My favorite part was Dan beaming over the adjacency bonus, when they aren't even building enough satellites to use it. Should've listened to that ghost and scoped out the situation first. You've got room for 3 and you're only building 2.

Kinda, yeah. The uplink is going to finish building and then they're going to need like 20 days to build and launch a satellite, and the next council report will have happened by then so they've probably already lost those two countries that are panicked and maybe more depending on how the missions go.
