Tank controls of the original RE1 & 2 would have you push left and right to rotate your character left and right and then forward to move forward. (terrible imo) You could not move to the left or right. In RE4 you could move with the analog stick in any direction. But the difference to modern shooter controls is that you didn't control the camera with the other stick. When you aimed your gun then you you used the other stick to move the camera and your character was rooted to the spot.
RE4 had tank controls, up to walk forward, down to walk backward, left and right to turn. Resident Evil 6 was the first time they had controls where you push the analogue stick in the direction you wanted to move.
In hindsight, it might have been better to rank each game's endings independently, and then make a master list to rank the best couple from each game at the end.
@janman You know FFXIV has Mahjong too, right? It even has a button you can press that has the computer do your turn for you if you don't know what to do.
