Why? Just because someone is playing the game in a way that the game encourages you to you label them a "troll"? No, guys, if that's the case then it's clear you are watching people play a game that isn't for them and are getting frustrated and you share those opinions. Those people they got in a scuff with are obviously not trolls and are just playing the damn thing in a way that's possible for them
Just because a game allows you to spawn camp doesn't mean it's not trolling to do so.
That Final Fantasy concept footage is finally going to be realized in-game, in the newest FFXIV expansion. Funny coincidence that this video goes up just a month before its launch.
I'm not a fan of the edited nature of this feature. A lot of great Giant Bomb bits come from them just fucking around and shooting the shit during down time and having Vinny edit all of those out is kind of a bummer to me. Just give me the raw feed, that's all I need. And plus, that would give both more content for this feature, and Vinny more time to make other content.
I appreciate the production. I don't want to watch them get the bus and the airplane a third time. You just have to trust Vinny and Abby that when they cut something, it's usually because nothing interesting or entertaining happens when they repeat boring mission steps after a fourth mission attempt.
I don't think this feature is cannibalizing time from their other stuff. They still pump out just as many quicklooks, playdates, livestreams, Sea Beasts and Mass Alexes as the West coast.
But what was Abby's prisoner persona for the final attempt?! How many gates did Vinny crash the bus into? You expect me to believe they all just sat there in silence and did everything perfectly? Even that would be worth seeing!
I don't think it's been that long. I remember them saying they've been recording it over a few months, maybe going back as far as pre-GOTY last year, but that's it. Certainly not "years". I took Abby's question about Face/Off like she was trying to recall the details. I watched the movie for the first time with F&40s and I barely remember how that shit works.
Dan 'officially' announced it on June 8th 2018 in episode 159 of the Beastcast at about 2:01:48. He says they planned to start recording after E3, so almost a full year.
You can select which train is next in the queue by clicking on them on the left, when you haven't upgraded them all and don't want to send the fast one behind a slow one.
