I've been looking at newegg, but it's difficult for me to really tell what parts are better than others, more specifically, video cards.

Hey guys, So my family has decided to get back into The PC market, but we don't really know where to start. We're probably looking to spend between 1000 to 1500 dollars (Canadian). Do you guys have any advice on getting the most bang for our buck? Much appreciated

Hey guys, I got this game this morning and started trying to play it tonight, and I can't tell if the servers are slow or if my computer is sucking. I fiddled with all the graphical settings and nothing seems to make a difference, so I'm leaning towards slow servers. I am in North America.

Anyone else having similar issues?

I can't decide which version I should get, does one have a better frame rate than the other? That's the biggest issue I'm worried about.

Okay, I downloaded the mod and the first time I tried it I didn't have the game running, so it didn't do anything. But the second time I launched it with the game running and it worked fine, thanks guys.

I just bought Shadow of Chernobyl on steam and I want to get the Stalker Complete mod for it, except I've never done anything like this before and don't even know where to start. If someone could just point me in the right direction on how to do this it would be greatly appreciated.

Can you run it doesn't work on my computer, it just seems to get stuck on gathering information.

The system requirements say that what I have passes the minimal requirements, but I don't want to buy a game and not be able to run it decently. So do you think I could run this game with a good framerate and decently graphics?
I have:
AMD Phenom II X4 905e Processor
and an ATI Radeon HD 4250
