I enjoyed the first one a lot. I played that game for countless hours. Do I want to do it again in 2010? I'm not sure. Watching the preview has kind of discouraged me. Timed missions, same gameplay, and boss battles that look like they aren't much improved over the last game (which was one of my biggest gripes).

We shall see.

Also, embedded for ease.

I'm in agreement with you.  I really enjoyed the first one but really I didn't just want more of the same.  I had hoped for some fundamental changes to the game.  I can't see this holding up my attention again with basicaly the same game.

" @JammyJesus:  They're very different engines.  DR1 had lots of object based motion blur and higher res textures.  DR2 has environment shadow mapping and soft body physics for zombies...  Lots of give and take here and there. "

Good points, although personaly, I prefer the graphics of DR1, at least to thsose I saw in Case 0.  The body phics are better now but the textures really blew me away in DR1 and therefor are a let down now in Case 0.

@CL60:
There were an amazing amoutn of zombies in the first one too.  Surely they could have improved more than just the number of zombies in the past 3 years.

Frankly (no oun inteanded) I was pretty impressed with the origional DR's graphics.  But's it's been a few eyars and it seams to me that the game looks the same.  I had hoped for more imprevements in the visuals being that they've had some time to rework things, esspecially with the textrues.

I just hope it's a matter of it being a downloadable game and teh the real DR2 graphics will be a little sharper.

Also, do we really need a loading scene in between every section and every cut scene?  Seriously?  Again I hope this is just a limitation of Case 0 being downloadable as it may be a deal breaker if DR2 is that way.

It will be interesting to see if/how Case 0 impacts the sales.  I could see the argument for it impacting it either way.

A little disappointing.  At least with the fist one they gave you a real map of Willamette Mall.  Costumes are alright but give me something real too please.

I just started inFamous last week and honestly I'm not feeling it yet.  Seams clunky and lacks serious fun.  I'm giving it time though.

The ONLY time I pre-order is when there is some sort of prmoation where I get free stuff or a discounted price.  Really it's rarely worth it.
