It was on Steam at some point, I bought it on Steam myself a couple years ago. I didn't know it was taken off though, that's odd. It was better than most people gave it credit for I think, Raven and id usually have some really good gunplay. My main complaint about it was they have you running around the main city killing guards over and over to go to each mission, why not just show a cutscene and do a loading screen into the next mission?

You can still get it for pretty cheap on eBay if you want to go with a physical copy.

PC is the only system I play games on anymore. My DS hasn't been touched in a few years and my PS3 is basically a DVR now that I have a ton of TV shows on and I just watch those. Don't remember the last time I played a game on PS3.

@intro: Call the police. It sounds like a scam and the police should be informed.

This - It sounds like a scam, especially if it's some company nobody has ever heard of and the fact that you can't legitimately think of anything you did wrong. Go to the cops with it. I'm assuming it's a phone number within your country? If so, they're idiots for trying to scam somebody that big within their own country.

I never got too into just straight up adventure games but I did love The Walking Dead and Indigo Prophecy. I've tried quite a few others but I may have tried some bad choices and didn't find much else I really enjoyed in that genre.

Cyberpunk for sure, so many more options that just make too much sense.

Give the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series a try. Shadow of Chernobyl was a lot more scarce on equipment than the others but the others are still really good. Call of Pripyat is amazing as well, Clear Sky was a little disappointing but still a great game.

The first time I tried S.T.A.L.K.E.R. all I thought of was this is what survival horror is all about. You have to eat eventually because you get hungry, equipment can be difficult to find at times and incredibly expensive to buy, enemies are incredibly dangerous as you can be attacked by a pack of mutant dogs while in the middle of a firefight with a group of bandits, you can die just by running into an anomaly that you didn't see until the last second, etc. I wish there were more games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. but unfortunately there aren't. If and when you do play them, make sure to install the Complete mod though. I never played it without the Complete mod but it's to my understanding that it fixes A LOT of bugs as well as adding some nice textures packs.

I wasn't baited, a friend of mine was actually so kind as to gift me the game before the pre-order bonuses were even announced.

However, I don't understand the hatred and blame people give Valve for having these pre-order bonuses. It's not pressuring anybody to do anything about them. I'm not going to run around advertising the game for them, even if I did pay for it myself. People just like to point the blame at somebody other than themselves. Just STFU about the deal or take the blame if you run around being annoying as fuck trying to convince everybody to buy it. It's not on the developers for incentivizing people to buy their products. Hell, looking at a pure dollar value, it's potentially $130+ value for $60, be happy and stop blaming the developers...

Edit - @Pudge - Yes, Tomb Raider just hit all tiers for pre-orders.

I agree, I love my racers even though I haven't played many in a while. But this game really bothered me. I don't want to waste time looking for races to do, I don't want to waste time pausing the game to look for the best route, I absolutely hated how many times I blew by the best route because it wasn't clear until you're halfway through the turn going full speed and expecting to go straight... I was expecting to 100% a game like this but I probably didn't even get 10% of the way through until I just stopped playing for those reasons. Mechanically, it's a really fun game. But man, lazy work with no actual tracks and the navigation system was one of the worst I have ever seen.

Really fucking annoying, nobody cares what system you play, just STFU and talk about a common interest.
