Still no snow here in NY. I'm okay with snow, but I am always happy to see it gone after a while. Mostly because it is just something else that makes getting things done in the morning take longer.

Shit man, I love snow and wish we got more of it here in London and that it didn't turn into brown mush so fast when it did arrive, but people dieing isn't good at all. I always had the impression all the Scandi countries were all prepared and organised for weather like this.

I love snow. I got to experience living in it last year when I was in New Jersey and it was awesome, but now I live in Northern California and it never snows here. Makes me sad.

I need to find a guy for the holidays and take long romantic walks in the snow again. I love the snow so much I'm seriously considering moving to a country with regular snowfall.

Yeah, fuck snow! I like living in the north east, but I only find June, July and August enjoyable. I love the summer. I look better, I feel better and few things in life make me happier than the beach and the ocean. Winter: It's cold, everything is dead, the barren trees and bleak skies remind one of a post-apocalyptic movie, it starts to get dark at 4 PM, snow results in terrible driving conditions, having to shovel my walkway and deck, hiring someone to plow my driveway, losing power for days, lack of vitamin D, ice, having to suit up as if I was about to embark on an Antarctic expedition just to walk my dog, staying fit via running is a pain and having to wear socks all the god damn time! /rant

When I was in my Freshman year of college,it got cold at the end of October and people were freezing and wearing jackets on into March. I remember walking from the IT help desk, where I work, to my car at 7PM every evening and having to turn on the heat for a minute or two so I could warm my hands up. I didn't bother buying any gloves because I'm a cheap bastard.

Last year, my Sophomore year, I barely even saw my breath. I don't think it ever stayed in the 40's for more than a few days, and this winter it's barely dropped down that low. I hate it. I love seeing snow and love feeling the cold in the Winter. I guess I'm weird or something, but those were my favorite times of the year and it seems like we're not going to get that around here this year. It was like 70 degrees a few days this week, what the fuck is wrong?

Snow started here in Canada (Alberta) over a month ago. On the up side, ski season is already in full swing.

At first the snow is pretty and gives a holiday feeling, but when it starts to melt, man, if the snow was a person I would stab him in the eyes.

Yup, there's a lot of snow here but it's been sunny during the past days so it's like living in a Disney christmas special... complete with talking animals, sing-along-long and no sex.

Got a tiny bit of snow here in Nebraska and it melted in like two seconds. There is a chance here on Saturday for snow again, but it probably wont happen...again.

Sweden's kind of fucked at the moment. All the snow just came at once during the day and it's kind of chaotic outside, with transportation being pretty much shut down. I'm not looking forward to biking to the university tomorrow.

@MaFoLu: Yeah, but it's hard to start using a different measurement when you have used °C for your entire life. Although I do use Kelvin in my physics calculations.

Here in Uppsala, Sweden we've just had one of the worst snow storms in years probably. First time in my life EVERY single bus in the entire region was shut down and the train company, SJ, just gave up on trying to get people to their destination on time. In Stockholm, some train trips that are usually 20 minutes or so took about 3 hours. 
 
Doubt I'll be making it to school tommorow at this rate. Hardly made it home today. 
 
Oh yeah, and it's still going outside. Amazingly, we haven't had a power outage today. Instead we had it yesterday and only for a short while. Very strange.

I live in the very southern part of Norway, so we got some snow from December 1, luckily it has stopped for a while.
It got as cold as -11C at the worst, which isn´t all that bad considering the people in the north had -31C

I'm all too aware. This is the only shitty part about Sweden, I want to get the fuck out of here and all this goddamn snow. MY BUS WAS DELAYED FOR 1.5 HOURS! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHAGH

I'm so glad I moved to Florida, I'm fucking sick of it after living through long winters in western Maryland. Plus I'm glad I missed that shitstorm Sandy that brought several feet of snow in the area a while back.

It snowed this morning where I am here in England (not sure about rest of UK, or even rest of England). Snowing isn't very common, and it usually happens for just one week near the end of January.

Is what first popped into my head. In Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada we probably won't get anything like that until January, if ever. We're pretty protected from most elements and possible causes of apocolypse, including the snowpocolypse.
