Only resorting to this post as I've had no response from trying to contact GiantBomb accounts/admin via email and using the online form. I've contacted them twice in the last 2 weeks.

Wondering if the Whiskey Media email address is old, since GB is now CBS owned?

Have used the contacts below:

support@whiskeymedia.com.

(and using contact form at) https://auth.giantbomb.com/support/?from_site=giant-bomb

Any help would be useful.

I accidentally woke up my family laughing in the middle of the night at this part of the podcast whilst listening on my iPod! Love the idea of a video documentary of the whole trip, flights, meals, shopping sprees and the lack of accommodation/no hotels rule. As they say: "Travel broadens the mind" (and your out of control retro games collections!)

Ok I've just seen a video on Engadget of River Rush on Natal and I don't like where video gaming seems to be going:
1. I hate wearing 3D glasses and the headache effect of it in games and films.
2. I hate the thought of flailing my limbs around like a miniac like these lot to play a game...

Anyone else not into the prospect of a controller-less game future (at last Sony's Move has something to hold!) rather than just moving bodies...

@zudthespud: God, i do hope this is just poor translation. Ok fair enough if all interiors cant be individually modelled for each of the proposed cars, but no crash models for standard cars? - Surely the existing geometry for each car can just be deformed using random (to a certain extent) expressions? This would be a big let down so hope they find a way to sort this.

Well put Jeff. Here's my view of another of Future's 'review' products:  FirstPlay on PS3

Good article, my instant thoughts on what you said are that no matter what happens in regards to new platforms, people's shifting tastes and future gaming technology, there will always be valid creative visions by current or future developers that are on the edge of what is currently possible to technically produce, using the latest tech specifications that are ever increasing to make their idea as immersive and/or enjoyable as possible for all to experience. And with so many people wanting to experience these things and willing to pay good money to be a part of it (think Modern Warfare 2) it looks to me like it will only get better.

If a game like MW2 was not selling and if 59p iPhone apps were being bought instead of (rather than as well as), we'd really have a problem. At the same time, a timeless casual/less immersive game such as Tetris on the iPhone is highly playable, good looking, addictive and fun but in a totally different way, being an example of the need for a (very well produced) 'casual' game as well as diving into a photorealistic future battlefield in MW2.

So my view is that both forms of gaming will always exist alongside each other without any threat of canibilisation. It's possibly abit  like music videos compared to feature films, one is shorter and more casual but still a perfectly valid and creative product / artform to serve the purpose, the other is longer with more time and money invested in it to cater for a more involved, emotional and immersive experience. But they never get in each other's way and co-exist very nicely.
