Just to clarify, EB Games, Babbages, and Gamestop are all the same company. Same policies, as well.

I believe that everything is a byproduct of natural processes that occur in the universe. I suppose that means I don't believe in intelligent design. Unless I discovered that the universe has some form of conscious intelligence, in which case I would believe in intelligent design.
@choffy21: Yeah. Large corporations tend to be highly variable in the operation of their stores due to the structure of authority. The local Gamestop down the road from my house is pretty good in terms of employees. I was going to pick up a job there, but the manager came out and said that they have a mandatory quota on pre-orders and card subscriptions, plus the hours are inconsistent. Not a place I'd be interested in working at.
@choffy21: The District Manager is the primary variable. Some of them are douchebags that try to force numbers, some aren't. I've heard that the former is true most of the time.
@ThreeMegabytes: That was physically painful to watch. That guy's definitely an outlier, though. All the servers I play on probably would've voted to mute him.
