Exact same thing happened to me this weekend; I really hoped my 2007 360 would last one more year. Glad to see there was already a thread set up for this issue. Cheers and thanks for the advice!
"Have to say not impressed with Vinny and Brad here. If they were the designated members to go to the Sony briefing, they should have at least made some notes so they could report back on what happened instead of bungling their way through trying to remember snippets, prompted by Jeff and Ryan. I'd sack them. "
Good thing you aren't in charge then. "
Even though I don't at all agree with the sentiment, he does have sort of a point. I love both these guys, but it does seem kind of silly not to make notes at these things. Then again, I am not reporting an E3. "
I agree that it's a bit silly, but for all we know their notes were destroyed in a freak grease fire beneath Thom Yorke's watchful gaze.
Although very similar in preparation, I tend to enjoy Yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) more than Korean BBQ because you can cook as you go, rather than cooking everything all at once and letting it get cold.
24 years ago today the worst nuclear disaster in history occurred at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Pripyat, Ukraine. Since it happened two years before I was born, I have no real memory of the event, but I'm sure there are people on these forums who were alive and remember where they were when they heard about the disaster. I'm fascinated by the event, especially the way it has been utilized in fiction. Anyone else feel like saying something to mark the event?
