I don't regularly post here, how do I drop my opponent a PM? If I put something on their activity wall, will they get notified?

I'm enjoying Shoals' excellent mobility a lot, so I use her the most online. Jeff said on tumblr that Shoals kinda sucks though, so maybe I'll be switching characters soon; I still haven't given the crazier characters (Markman, Stream, S-Kill) a real look.

Buttons: mushy left and right keys on my old keyboard. I'll manage, but I'd prefer the mouse buttons. It's strange that's not possible, it seemed like a perfect fit.

Now back to actually reading the article.

Yeah, I read upon the double meaning of the title (It's an actual reward -> being virtuous/compassionate is good / 'last reward' is an euphemism for death -> being virtuous/compassionate will get you killed), but it seems a little too much of a stretch to me.

'Virtue's Last Reward' makes me think 'hmm. Oh, I see what this is about', while 'Good People Die' makes me go 'oh fuck what is going in here'. Maybe that's just because English is not my first language and I had never heard of the phrase 'last reward' before.

9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors is a very evocative title. The shorthand name '999' works just as well, too.

It's sequel is called Virtue's Last Reward, which is a bit weak if you ask me, but the original Japanese title is apparently Good People Die.

GOOD PEOPLE DIE

Now that's a strong title. Sure it's edgy as fuck but it immediately grabs attention and sets the tone for the game.

Other favorites: FEZ, Super Hexagon, VVVVVV, Divekick and Blur.
