this didnt seem to be focused on the video games industry at all.

I dont think giant bomb has much to worry about. Jeff is a smart guy, he probably made sure the contract is in such a way that they won't be censored. I think they themselves kinda hinted at that.

I think they are more similar to the Activision-Bungie contract, where Activision cant do much to Bungie. (and we all know what dicks Activision are)
