I think it is likely that Nintendo could shift to being entirely casual. It might not happen but with the money they can get from it they could just stay casual and rake in the money from it. Then again, what happens when the time comes to make a new system? What if the casual gamers are content with their Wii and won't buy the new one? What if Nintendo treated the hardcore gamer so badly that they didn't want the system either? It's all a series of "What if" questions. But the profits right now are coming from people who never used to play games. The people who outnumber the gamers. And that's what makes most sense to a company. Profit.

Most likely they'll continue making some titles for us fans of them, at least for a while. But if this gold mine  that they've struck doesn't run out anytime soon then I can see them abandoning the idea of going after the normal gamers. It takes more effort to dig a burried coin up than it does to take one from a mountain made of coins.

The Bombcast and the Giant Bomb videos. So far most of the site itself seems like it could be improved. Since it just began I'll give them time to work out the kinks and add new features and such. Then I'll pick a favorite user activity.

Grand Theft Auto IV was my favorite. All the elements came together in one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a long time.

I always loved going after a Blue Yoshi then telling the little deserter to come back when he runs away. Then going to get another one. I still could probably do that for hours. xD

I actually find it quite amusing. Though if I absolutely needed Yoshi for something then I find it annoying and get ticked.

When I try to listen to the earliest podcast, which is one I haven't heard and I didn't see on the original temp-site, it plays the newest E3 one instead. Is this happening to anyone else?

I found it by watching G4 at random. I am pretty sure Jeff came on Xplay or something like that and announced the site. There were only like...two Bombcasts up at that point so I caught up on all the podcasts and followed the site since.

I've been listening ever since I saw Jeff on G4 announcing Giant Bomb. I had no clue he was doing anything else or had a blog until then. If I had known I'd have followed from the beginning.

Yeah, I'd like to remove some too. I have empty ones on my profile that just look pretty ugly.
