I just played DA2 with DX11 in High, 8x  AA, 1920x1080 resolution with the problem of it playing windowed the first time I played it. But after a restart the game ran fluently in DX11, with fullscreen and everything. No probs!

Running a 1090T AMD processor & 6970 2 gb....

First of all, I too agree on the point of Peter Molyneux being too much of a dreamer, more than a realist. And furthermore, I too is trying to avoid news on the game etc. because I do not want to be disappointed once again, because of all the hype going into games these days.

All that said, I do believe that they have learned something from Fable 2 and what the community & gamers etc. said about the previous game. Therefore I am certain that it will be epic. Or at least, that is my dreaming/optimistic part of the brain hoping and thinking :o)

Here in Denmark, Europe the Limited Edition with the figure has been removed from many online shops here. But the weird thing is though, that there was not meant to be any USB Flash drive in our Limited Collector's Edition here in Europe ?! :-S

Most the stuff is over there but there is one thing missing to both of those:fun (who would have thought, fun missing from the rules....) !
So for fun check something not mandatory and that is this awesome-sauce blog with all the awesome Giant Bomb moments :)!  So once again, welcome and enjoy your stay ^^ "

"Is Splinter Cell Conviction a concept and approach to stay or just like a cold, something to get over?"

I personally, is still in doubt since I first of all haven't played the finished version of the game except for the easy peasy demo. But I also believe that perhaps they should really consider where they are taking the franchise in terms of it just becoming a failed attempt to conquer a market that only cares about things being the new IN, HOT & quantity, and not being quality? Even though I have the impression that Conviction is a quality game, what will happen to the franchise later on, not to mention their attempts to make it a Spielberg movie??

I'm confused.... :-S

Hey fellow gamers!

"As the new kid on the block", I am slowly but surely trying to get acquainted with the site and the users, finding out more and more stuff about the great concept that is Giantbomb, but also learning a bit about the difference between being a gamer in Europe and in the US. Because there is a difference when looking at how US gamer sites and gamers in particular observe the gaming world as it is. Because you are in the middle of it, you are the onces who always gets the great stuff first. But also US gamers are flooded with info and commercials regarding the gaming industry vice versa how much it fills up the European market, when thinking at tv commercials, magazines etc.

Therefore it is very interesting and fun to be active at a american gamer site, that has a very different approach to the gaming industry :-)

But enough with all the meaningless words of the mind. If you are interested, check out the Danish gamer page which I have been a part of for some time. I know that it will be just a lot of words and stuff you probably don't understand, but again, only if you are interested :-)

Later!

Andy

Ps. If you are a Splinter Cell fan and looking forward to digging into the fifth and new installment of Conviction and fresh on some CO-OP or just Multiplayer, then PM me and we will go Live ;-)
