@eroticfishcake: Open a guide, on the top left there is an icon of a envelope with a green arrow on it, beside it in grey text (that doesn't show up too well on black background) it says "PM Authors".

@Hamz: Ah I see it now. Thanks. But yeah it's little hard to see. Maybe changing the font's colour to white might help.

@Hamz: I do have a question. After looking at the mod list, I see that Wafflestomp isn't on there and either is Mr. Jared. What are their roles as moderators?

@gingertastic_10: Best phrase I can use is honorary moderators. They shouldn't be contacted about issues you have around the site :)

I've updated the post with "PM All" links so you don't have to hunt it down on the guides pages.

Hopefully this will stop the string of new users who refuse to read up on the rules.

About time we have something like this.     This is a great addition though.  I hope all the new members check this out.

EDIT:  I just thought of something.  Why don't we have mods that are both forum and wiki mods?  I noticed over at AnimeVice they have 5 mods that do both.  Is there a reason for not having mods that can do both or, do you guys just don't want to?

All forum mods can also mod the wiki. They just generally aren't the ones to talk to regarding wiki issues

@Hamz:
I do like this addition. Good job with streamlining this and making the "PM All" feature included.

However, on your forum rules, you state,"Blog posts are subject to all of the above."

This is certainly true but doesn't this only apply to blogs posted on the forums? For instance, I know you shouldn't have any form of discriminatory or hateful material anywhere but you are allowed to do a "spam" of sorts, that is linking other material without commentary without any form of consequence. I am accurate with at least some of what I am saying, right?

Nice job, much needed.
I kind of wish though that the moderators(WHO ARE ALL FUCKING AWESOME) would sometimes be quicker in locking down certain threads, espeically in recent days the "What does your shit smell like," or "My girlfriend does not want to have sex," threads.

As Lies did mention every forum moderator on this site has the ability to deal with wiki issues just like our dedicated team of wiki mods does. When the site launched there was much need to keep a larger portion of the moderation team focused solely on the wiki with the 90,000+ submissions that were desperately needing accepted/denied. So a dedicated team of wiki mods was finely tuned and created while a much smaller team handled the general forum and day-to-day running of the community. Obviously it may change as the site evolves and we re-evaluate things :)

Technically any content you post in your blog should stick to the rules stated in that guide. Regardless of whether or not the blog is posted just to your profile or to the forum as well. However concessions are likely and obviously to be made such as the example you pointed out above. We're likely less inclined to delete a blog posted just to a profile which has some silly youtube video on it.

@Everyone - I'm a overjoyed to see folks think this is a great idea, we're glad this little 'hub' topic has made it easier for you all to locate the rules and contact the mods. However does no one remember the 'Defusing the Bomb' sticky we had up for around a year? :(

I think as far as we are all concerned, you can spam your own profile and blog up with as much nonsense as you want as long as it isn't stuff like porn, hate speech, or something otherwise illegal or prohibited. It's when you start opting to attach those spam blogs to the forums that they become an issue.

See this tutorial for instructions on how to better manage your blog posts and attaching them to the proper forums, or keeping them restricted to your blog only.
