@demoskinos: I feel like people should play the first Witcher if they love bad voice acting, because man is it baaaaad. I must confess though, CD Projekt Red did an amazing job with what they had with the first game, it's awesome to see how far they've come.

@oldirtybearon: It also is nothing like DOA Paradise, where the crux of that game is simply BOOBS. Lighting Returns as far as I know is a Final Fantasy game first and foremost, so no need to get your nickers in a twist if that's what your looking for.

@truthtellah: goddamnit now I don't wanna play this game anymore ;_;

It does seem kind of gross. I don't think it's going to stop me from giving the game a chance, but it is disappointing nonetheless. I'm sure some people will appreciate them sexing up a character that many people didn't like, but as someone who at least respected that they had a character like her in the series, this just seems like a real shame.

Every time I ask people why they still put up with the same old art style and characters, they tell me they're really only in it for the gameplay and RPG elements. Only a small minority seem to be in this complete and utter faboyish state, where they think the story in a FF is still what matters.

Edit: I forgot to ask, where do you stand when you play a modern Final Fantasy?

@dallas_raines: And now you're calling a dev, whose comment was made in another language and translated to English, a sex offender. Who's the offensive one here, again?

I think he means more of when it's taken out of context like in the article, it sounds disgusting. Ryan said a similar thing when the "Uh Uh Uh Uh" part of his AC Brotherhood review was taken out of context and shoved into a news article. He remarked that out of context the quote sounded like the mad ramblings of a serial killer.

I just wish it was a wired controller. I never use wireless controllers anymore, because I hate replacing batteries and those rechargeable packs seem to lose their charge in a matter of just a couple months.

Agreed, I still don't see how wireless controllers are the future, how far away do you need to be to play a game? Unfortunately, every controller I've had this generation has a been a wireless, this includes both consoles. The one wired controller I bought was a 360 controller, and it refuses to work with my 360, it only turns on when I plug it into my PC.

With all the exclusive indie titles Sony seems to be picking up, it's no surprise to me they hand out these devkits alot. It's a very simple part of Sony's on going battle of desperately trying to prove themselves to developers who may remember their not so good prelaunch PS3 devkits. They're also attempting to steal away small indie teams who are, or may be considering developing for Microsoft. To be honest, it's almost exactly what Microsoft did at the beginning of this generation.
