You describe the appeal of Brothers perfectly. Up until the final, maybe 20 minutes, of that game I wasn't really on board but the game's conclusion is one of the biggest pay offs of the year.

Very interesting, and diverse, list here. You've got me this close to checking out Dead or Alive 5 and Project Diva, which is something I thought I'd never say. Great year overall, but, like a few others have said, we'll have to agree to disagree on Ni No Kuni. Once the novelty of the art direction wore off there wasn't much bringing me back to the game.

Is it sad how excited I am about a combined account system? I thought I'd never see the day. I still doubt titles that appear on both e-shops transfer to both systems now but it's a start.

Never used my PS3 to play music so that doesn't hit me too hard but no external hard drive support rubs me the wrong way.
