@Moreau_MD: Bollocks! I totally forgot I was posting this on Giantbomb! My sincere and earnest apologies! I shall find somewhere populated with adults.
It has come to my attention that certain members of staff working for this fine website think that Stella Artois is a connoisseur beer.
I get pissed every night on 4 pint cans, that's four 20 oz cans for £5 which is approx US $7.92. (OK "getting pissed" on 4 pints of Stella makes me a lightweight... I'm half Irish, so I accept this)
Then again... in the UK a single bottle of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is US $4.85

It's 8 am here in miserable, grey and rainy UK and I have just spent about half an hour sifting through the Bastion forum over on Steam in anticipation for its release today. I was astounded to see that one of the Supergiant Games guys/girls is over there doing a bloody good job at answering any questions people have.
When I bought Bioshock 2 on the day of its release, I had nothing but problems with that bugger crashing every 30 seconds (along with a hell of a lot of other people). I contacted support for 2K and posted several questions on Steam and 2K forums and got nothing in response, although the community was great. I have no hard feelings towards 2K for this (Bastards!) because it's what I have come to expect, but when I see a tiny company like Supergiant games making such a tremendous effort to speak with their fans and prospective customers, it gives me a little bit of hope that the games industry isn't run entirely by money hungry vermin who's only motivation is cupidity.
For those of us that don't have 40 spare hours to watch the "Endurance run" would it be completly out of the realms of possibility for somebody to explain what this is?
I don't want this to be construed as "Spam" so I shall do my best to pad it out with an actual topic and some substance... Not just "please add me on steam here is my steam ID... name, thing".
Please add me on Steam, here is my steam ID... name, thing: I_Am_lono
I have enough games to last a bloody lifetime and rarely play multiplayer because I am an antisocial bugger! However I played for such games as L4D, L4D 2, and TF2 and... Others! So come poke me in the face and make to play what I paid for.
Speaking of steam, what are people’s opinions of the treasure hunt thing? I like it, though I am hoping they still have a massive xmas steam sale so I can waste a shed load of money on shit I don't need.
" Video content being available only to those who pay is a dreadful mistake. I've seen other websites try this through the years and all have failed. "
OH NO! ONE VIDEO CAN'T BE VIEWED BY NON-SUBSCRIBERS. Call the fucking police. How dare they have exclusive content for people that help them keep the site running. Assholes. "
Agreed. I have no quarrels with your opinion which I find to be subjective, valid and relevant. However your language and immaturity makes you seem like a peasant. How desperately sad for you.
" @I_am_Lono And how exactly are you suggesting they keep the site going and pay salaries? Love and understanding? Good intentions? "
I am not making any suggestions. I wouldn't pretend to know how the inner workings of a website works, how the financial constraints and liquidity problems could be solved. I am the user of a website, not the creator and therefore I am ignorant. That's the beauty of the internet; I don't have to tell you why I have this opinion, why my opinion is better than yours or make suggestions on how to run a website, a subject -- as mentioned previously -- that I know nothing about. I can say anything I like and never back up a word of it, because I am nothing more than an avatar, a little picture at the side of this website. The sooner people accept this the sooner the internet will become a glorious, wonderful, brilliantly beautiful, magnificently splendid and completely enjoyable place to frequent ... or it'll be a hell of a lot worse.
