Gears 2 for wider weapon selection, Gears 1 for a more varied and fast paced single player experience in comparison to being in underground caves for over 9000 hours in Gears 2.
"I just completed chapter 6 and i had to take a break after beating that giant Leviathan thing because it was so intense! If that was only halfway throught the game i can't image what's left! And the best part was i defeated the thing with only the Plasma Cutter(on easy ofcorse).I can see why Brad gave this game 5 stars! Atmosphere wise, it's a lot like Bioshock but i enjoy the sci-fi setting and storyline much more personally."
Why are you playing on easy? I killed it off easy using the plasma cutter on normal on my first playthrough.
"I don't think I was ever really scared playing through Dead Space, though there was definitely a mood to it that was done quite well. Also to the guy that said American teams can't make scary games, I've got three words for you:System. Shock. Two."
"I can tell you what I don't want in Max Payne 3: stop and pop a la Gears of War. I wouldn't mind some kind of cover mechanic, but one of the things I really loved about MP 1 and 2 was the challenge of beating overwhelming odds while almost constantly moving forward. "
Rockstar has said they're putting in a cover system but that you don't have to use it. I agree that I like the old gameplay of bullet dodging while charging right at people to get those headshots. Shootdodging in the first game was the greatest and really the only way to win battles without getting chewed up. They downplayed it in the second game, focusing more on slow motion and getting behind cover, even if it just meant crouching but you could still own people in wide open shootouts.
Also while it's very likely that Mona is still alive, I'm kinda tired of that nonsense. She was never really a very likeable character anyway. (I suppose neither was max, making them a better fit). Still that horse has already been ridden to death. We need a fresh story.
I want the jackhammer to return, at least for like a level or even one shootout. I know they're super rare in real life and the amount of them floating around in the private sector in the first game was just ridiculous, but come on, it was fun to use.
But the number ONE thing I'd like to see at least once in the third game.
ADDRESS UNKNOWN
it'd be really funny if reruns were on in a villagers house and it was all dubbed in spanish.
For him to go back to New York. And grow his hair back.
And bullet time
No but seriously I want some freaking epic shootouts in corporate buildings a la the final 'chapter' in the first Max Payne. If the whole game takes place in friggin shanty towns and warehouses I will get bored quick. I've seen enough shanty towns from RE5 to last me for quite a while.
Not a big fan of the new look but I'll still play it because I'm such a big fan of the first two. He looks too much like Torque from those Suffering games.
