@ryanwho: What I mean't by that was people are hating on the game for not being (for example) a first-person shooter or any genre they like AKA not in a literal sense. Its like if I complained about no real-time mode in a Civilization game, even though there are alternative games out there which do. I explained more about that in the rest of the post.
I'm amazed at how many people have never played RTS game actually, its pretty damn basic. Select a dude, and right-click to move him. Nothing too different from other genres.
I fully agree with OP, people hate on this game for the dumbest fucking reasons. ''WHY CAN'T I SHOOT THINGS WITH MY GUN!??!!'' is the most popular complaint I've seen at the moment and I facepalm whenever I see someone trying to make a compelling argument for it. If you don't like the game, don't play it. If its not your type of game, then why the hell would you even try it anyway. Go back to playing genres you like if this game doesn't interest you.
I honestly think hate threads should be locked immediately after being made. Theres no point to them, except hoes be hatin'
I hate fallout 3 and oblivion but I don't make threads about it because I already know those games aren't from my preferred genres.
@Tru3_Blu3: I think people look at relationships differently when they like someone they know, I go over times when I would like to be in a relationship and other times I'm reminded how happy I am with the way things are right now.
Theres pros and cons to both sides so don't assume that being in a relationship always makes things harder. If you've found the right person, usually life gets better.
