I doubt that IW would do something like that especially when Mr. Bowling said that death streaks spawned off the idea that Martyrdom was to some degree the only death streak in COD4. If anything they took Martyrdom and gave it a new home with the death streak bunch.
I can take a chuckle at the fact that Krist and Dave must have facepalmed when they saw Courtney's response via Twitter. Other then that I'm okay with the three feeling how they feel.
I personally want to play ODST because I want to see if Bungie can bring a protaganist to human level. I mean yeah, Master Chief IS human, but then again he's fuckin' Master Chief. He can fall from orbit and go through re-entry unscathed and as far as the story goes I couldn't really connect. What happened to him at then end was a bummer, but I just sat there and said to myself "Pfft. He'll be alriiiiiight." Hopefully ODST can get me to say "Oh man. OH MAN!"
That being said I can hardly give a damn about graphics/gameplay/multiplayer cause they've proven that they can stick to their guns and still come out strong with an old formula as long as they keep the story solid. It's safe to say that MLG players will complain regardless of what happens so there's no use trying to satisfy people who got good at one game and complain when a developer makes a new game brings new ideas and are quoted "being unfaithful to the community" yet that same community bitches about weapons not being stronger . As confusing as that last sentence was that's pretty much how confusing MLG players are to me.
I ain't being a Halo fanboy because since 11/06/07 I've been playing another hallmark of a first-person-shooter, but dude? It's more Halo. I ain't complaining.
Nah. It's actually interesting to see big name games being gunned down. Which reminds me....
...Far Cry 2 (Hahaha!) is a game that just bored me. It seemed like a good idea, but the scope of the game plus the fact that the main story was easy to get off of was just annoying. All in all the package was extremely lukewarm.
Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is another cause for one I didn't really dig the pace of the game so I got bored by the second act, and two, I rented the game with a bad feeling in my stomach. Turns out when I reached the middle of that second act my 360 RROD. I know I should give this game another chance, but man. What a bummer.
