If you just put on some Battle Armor and bring a Machine Gun you can tear through their armor real fast. Machine Guns are boss killers. They're better guns at damage than Assault Rifles are.
Drew stealthing that mission is probably going to have a MAJOR impact on GOTY deliberations because of that mission fuck that mission but wow good job drew.
TIP: If you put NVG on the left most slot of the items radial menu when you're sortie'ing, it will default to the "tap left on dpad" item and it makes things alot more convenient.
One of the major problems with SCV4 is that the whip upgrades unbalance the game. You don't focus as much on subweapons and your better whip controls means the larger whip just becomes god mode.
I swear. No one complained about this shit until that Egoraptor video and now they can't stop parroting it whenever the topic of SCV4 comes up.
I thought the whip was too strong when I first played SCV4 (Not when it came out, back when I discovered the series in like 2007) I disagree with most of egoraptor's video and it feels like he didnt play the whole game even when he made that, and alot of his ideas feel half-baked at best, but the point is that the whip covers too much of the screen and it deals too much damage for how big it is. I did a run of the game with a code that disables whip upgrades (That way I can still get hearts and subweapons from candles) and it fixes alot of the game's problems and makes it feel more like a real ass castlevania game in terms of challenge. Rondo of Blood got rid of whip upgrades because the legacy feature didnt make sense along the other new mechanics they had, and it was more important to make sure there was a reason to use every mechanic during play. I also think the leather whip has a better sound effect and graphic than the chain one does in SCV4.

There's pro action replay codes to disable whip upgrades, and it actually makes the game much more interesting because you have to get closer to enemies, time your hits, and you need more hits to get through bosses, so you have to learn their patterns instead of brute forcing them. It's a much more enjoyable version of the game I feel. (Plus the regular whip has slightly better sound effects and graphics than the chain)
