Don't you agree?  When the game was first out, the sales were poor on it...but PC gaming also wasn't at the height that it is today.  Moreover, Killer App (the Xbox version) didn't appeal because the console was still fairly new.

With all the news coming out on Tr2n, as well as Tron's importance in Kingdom Hearts II, it would seem like the perfect time for a new game.  Plus, the movie isn't due out until 2011 anyways.  = D

Personally, I dig achievements...but not in all the games on 360.  I don't really like the "continue to progress through the game and unlock everything" like in Fight Night Round 3 and such...although I'm game for getting them and adding to my gamerscore.  It also means that, if you want a high gamerscore, you've gotta try games out that you may never have played before, and I've been surprised to find that a few of the games I would've never tried ended up being games that I genuinely liked.

Achievements are replay value for me, especially if I missed some stuff the first time.  It essentially just replaces the need for secret levels in video games, imo.

Crap and diversity are two very different things.

But the WT drums are shit.  So in turn, don't we need both in a way?  lol

Aren't you getting ahead of yourself? We don't know anything about the game, nor do we know if they are even using the UE3 engine for the Wii version."
Read the update that I posted.  Epic THEMSELVES have stated that someone IS doing it.  Whether it's Grasshopper or someone else, that's still undetermined.

I'm sure most of you checked out the story.  Nonetheless, this brings up a well-deserved topic.

Epic stated a while back that UE3 could run on the Wii, and there's even a version of Gamebryo that will run on the Wii.  Given what we've seen from The Conduit, we know that the console can be pushed for some decent power (although I still don't think The Conduit is pushing far enough personally).

Can Suda51 and the gang be the guys to bring all the fanboys to their knees, or will they cop out and use a duller engine on the console?\

*EDIT*  I found this interesting little snippet from a Kikizo article with Mark Rein from Epic talking about how a licensee was bringing UE3 to Wii:

Earlier in the year, Epic's Mark Rein told Kikizo that there were rumblings of a studio - not Epic - bringing Unreal Engine 3 to the Wii. Speaking with us again in this new interview published today, Rein confirmed that an unnamed development team has taken up the challenge.

"I know one of our licensee who's giving it a shot," Rein said. "It's their own port, in the same way Ubisoft brought Unreal Engine 2 to the Wii."

So there could very well be weight to this that says Suda51 and the boys are those licensees.  =  /

"While it looks cool, it saddens me a little to know that it won't be long before we see adverts there instead of vinny and ryan's pics."
They said the adverts wont be intrusive or overbearing, and I think this fits the bill. I imagine they'll use that top space (where it says "All week in Tokyo) for ad space, but I can't see them skinning the whole front page"
Nope, they plan on skinning the whole front page."
A.  Brad has a weird face in that picture.
B.  BEER!!!
C.  Hopefully, they are going to do some form of Halloween theme/Thanksgiving theme/Hanakkah (sp?) theme/Christmas theme.
