I know movie based games suck because they have little time to make them so they can be ready to release the game in sync with the movie however I'm going to say it anyways that the Demo sucks. I mean apart from it being 5 mins long and not really enough to know how the game will play like because it's a tutorial level I just found it to play really off. I mean the controls were all good and everything but it feels really rushed and cheaply made and the mouse sensitivity feels really off no matter what setting you put it to. I also found the graphics to be really lacking and it's really starting to annoy me with PC games when Windowed mode is not included in the options because I always have to play in windowed mode so I can easily do other things while playing. The worst thing about the game however has to be the dumb AI and how easy it was and I know its set that way for a casual market and because its only a demo but making the AI act like aimbots depending on the settings isn't the answer and they should just act smarter instead of running into things, getting stuck or jumping right ontop of you and then just standing there for a few seconds before attacking you.

Am I the only one who feels like the game should just be a third person shooter? I think Gears style would suit the game much more than from what I've played of it.

Looks a lot like Rainbow Six: Vegas. Which is a good thing.

I dunno I never liked Vegas because the problem I have with the cover system is it brings you into third person and if it's a First Person game then I want to stay in it like with Medal of Honour: Airbourne which was probably the best feature of the game and also RVS multiplayer was sooo much better than vegas but that's another argument lol.

Isn't it based off of the CoD4 engine? Because that usually says good things.

It could be OK, but I'll probably wait for the price to drop before buying it.

I would've liked it better if EA was doing it or if they gave it a Everything or Nothing style. A full third person game. But im not going to make my judgements just yet, this is Activision's first Bond game after all and they'll most likely screw it up, im hoping for the best though.

I don't think the developers have the creative freedom to do anything special with the franchise. They always fall back on the popularity of Goldeneye without showing any influence from that game, instead they rip off a bunch of modern popular FPS games. From the recent demo, it looks pretty rubbish, why anyone would think it was a good idea to put ironsights in a bond game is beyond me...

From the screens the game looks pretty solid, but as you said game adapted from movies usually fail, but you never know, I might give a try on this one, let's wait for some reviews

To me it looks like it could be really good

The demo looked good (damned short, but still.)  I have faith that this game will at least be decent...

James Bond games tend to be good, I loved all the James Bond games made by EA, let's see if Activision can deliver as well.

The PC demo is a 3rd party port of the actual game that is being developed for the PS3 and 360.  Until I play a demo on a console, I'm holding back judgment.

It looks better then a lot of other movie based games and a lot better then many of the crap Bond games. I don't think it will ever be as good as GoldenEye but I can still hope.
