This is where I stand too. I'm not getting too fanboy or cynical about it right now .. just relying on good, old fashioned faith.

Hallowed be thy Bioware etc ..

Well following this, and reinstalling only official content the problem's still there, and as an extra surprise my savegames are now screwed too.

" I have a couple of questions if someone would be kind enough to help me out.
  • Are the relationships in Dragon Age something that you have to do in the storyline or is it just for the sex scene and an achievement?  Possible to play through without a relationship?
  • Can you skip the sex scene when it comes on?  Press A or X and skip right through?
  Thanks guys. "
Well most relationships open up new quests and items .. but tbh it only really depends on if you want to pursue it - it's not really that compulsary as part of the game.

" Eh. You're not missing anything if you don't get it.  I've encountered a few bugs while playing through the DLC (on the Xbox 360 version). "

I know it sounds weird but take a look for yourself .. /facepalm

Well .. I've heard mixed reactions so far ..

As for me, well, I have a support ticket in because I have an invisible wall in front of me so can't progress any further .. I'm 3 minutes into the DLC and blocked .. superb ..

shift-attacking? hmm .. new to me
also, I've noticed that units will stop attacking a building if another enemy unit appears in-range, but only for their auto-attack

" Have any good custom maps come out since the game's official release? I didn't play in the beta so I don't know much about what's been done already. "
There's some on Gamershell, but I haven't tried them out myself yet.

" It wouldn't be very ultimate if it didn't have Awakening on it.  I'd expect it to have it.  Awakening is great btw, well worth playing - I enjoyed it more than Origins. "
I agree .. tbh it should have EVERYTHING. I wonder if this version will have any extras attached to it ..

"you select a voice during the creation process.. "

This is a good point. I thought that my character would have some kind of voice throughout the game, but I never really hear him say anything. "

Well they do say stuff now and again .. during battle or when you try to get them to do something like 'move' or open a chest etc. I agree though .. it would've been nice to see our characters talking using the customised voice .. but hey, it wasn't a game-breaker for me personally (far from it).
