You should get a sense of Warframe with a couple of hours of play. I like it quite a bit, but I think Destiny has the best shooting, so that's where I'll be this week.
Man I so don't understand net neutrality. So if Comcast says "We own CNN, so you can't stream Fox News" (or it's slower, or whatever), that should be illegal? Is that what we're talking about?
I've played Halo 4-5, Destiny 1-2, and Gears 4 with my dad. He's 72. He's pretty good with the coop, he just doesn't do well with PVP, so we don't do any of that. No raids in Destiny, but I'm not interested in that anyway. Strikes are pretty easy to pick up a third guy with.
Yeah I wasn't suggesting anyone pay money. Every item in the store is 1 crystal, including every hero and costume, and 5 packs of each type of loot box and booster. So if you ever wanted to open up an unlimited number of loot boxes in a free to play game, here's your chance.
The game is closing December 31. This is actually a good time to dip back in as everything in the store is so cheap as to be essentially free. Like 5 loot boxes are 1 eternity splinter, and you are almost guaranteed to get more splinters. You can load up on boosters and level up whatever character you like pretty fast.
Playing Halo 5, which I didn't really enjoy, I thought maybe I was just over that style of shooter. I've since replayed Halo Reach and Halo 3 (introducing it to my son), and nope, Halo 5 was just not good. Reach and Halo 3 hold up fine.
