Jeff might want to check the number of dislikes 'Bombing the a.m.' gets before singing its praises too much.

I would like to think that you'd already know that I'm not the type of sucker to use YouTube comments/ratings as any kind of indicator one way or the other.

Jeff is such a badass I wish I was like him but apparently I'm just a child. Jeff should stream himself playing Silent Hills P.T. to show how badass he is.

Oh please, save the macho bullshit. This isn't me beating my chest and saying I'm tough. This is me legitimately wondering what it is that people (in this case adults with opinions I really respect) see in that genre. And the answers I get back seem so half-hearted that I just can't understand how people get legitimately scared by this stuff. Startled and jumpy, sure. But legitimately scared? Why? How?

I've been playing this thing for a couple of days. It's pretty mindless. Also, it doesn't use any licensed music or voice samples... the whole thing feels like a bootleg WWE product. Anyway, the price is right, I guess. I'm on my way to winning my first King of the Ring.

Pretty much,it looks like a good game and the reaction from Brad and Jeff just feels the same as they usually have for these types of games, however Destiny seems to be the one they like...I wonder why...

Probably has something to do with the shooting and general gameplay in the Destiny beta feeling competent-to-great in most spots while most of the combat and movement in Firefall feels sluggish and sloppy.

e: Welp, nevermind, Jeff doesn't think there's a melee even though he talked about how he had to rebind it to clicking the right stick.

Preeeetty sure you're mixing up Destiny and Firefall there.

Hey, here are some codes for the closed beta. These are Uplay keys, so you'll need to redeem them from... the Uplay client. I guess they must have had a block of them allocated for us or something as part of some big spreadsheet, as the codes all have our name next to them. I am officially too lazy to clean up the paste job, so... yeah! Best of luck!

Like, seriously, Jeff, for once, shut up and listen to what he's saying, rather than talking right over the part of Amiibo that's different (aka that the figures have actual writable storage).

Hi! Thank you for the feedback! I should point out here that Skylanders have had "writable storage" since day one. That's the whole point, allowing you to move your characters from one place to another while keeping your stats intact.

@steverl: As someone who just managed to break into this industry in the last two years, I'm absolutely with you. Getting to attend the show last year was the realization of a life-long dream, and I can't even find the words to describe how excited I am for E3 2014. Listening to the GB crew act like a few days in LA is this huge burden, and not acknowledging that their site is big enough to get them special treatment throughout the convention, is pretty damn frustrating.

That's what you took away from the discussion about E3's continued relevance as games and the way they're announced and shown prior to release has changed? That we're complaining about having to go? Perhaps you should go back and listen to that part again and see if you get anything else out of it.
