Well guys, I do much of my Blogging over on my totally awesome website, Jensonb.co.uk. As you’re no doubt aware, I’m a member (Since launch) and huge fan of the website Giant Bomb (Dot) Com, to the point that I’m one of the 3 “usual suspects” behind the Giant Bomb Community Podcast, Bomb Should Have A Face.
Last night BSHAF (As we call it for short) hosted a little town hall for the Giant Bomb guys to discuss some changes they’re planning to make to the site. So Giant Bomb Favourite Sons Jeff Gerstmann and David Snider appeared on the show and we discussed the new site with them and the Giant Bomb IRC (Of which I am an H-Op).Read More
Surf and Turf
Here in Britain, television aimed specifically at teenagers is in short supply. So when a British show does come along with a focus on teenagers, we flock to it to see what’s what. A couple of years ago, a show that fit the bill launched. Skins was quickly a national phenomenon and its fans legion.
After two series, the story of the cast’s journey through Sixth Form had been told. But the show wasn’t done, which brings us to the third season, which started airing this past Thursday. To give you a sense of how excited Iw as and how much I love this show, I always watch things in TV after they’ve aired. Unless it’s live, like news or sports, I record it.

So in my last post, I explored my options for a new Mac on which to do my video production over the next year or so as I wait on getting a MacBook Pro until I go to university. It had come down to a kind of standoff as I couldn’t make up my mind between an iMac I currently have no room for and a MacBook Precision Aluminum Unibody I couldn’t justify the cost of.
You might remember I dismissed the £719 MacBook White as too expensive for the power it gave. I described it as “utterly pedestrian”, and I stand by that assessment of the Late 2008 MacBook White.
