The only one I really agree with is point 3. GTA IV may not have been a perfect game, but the serious tone is more mature and also good for the industry as a whole - it pushes games from being ridiculous teenager toys to something much more meaningful.

Also, I believe they have learned lessons about how to make a serious story from Red Dead and L.A. Noire since IV, and V could be a great game given iteration on all of the ideas they had the first time. Think of it as the switch from III to Vice City and Vice City to San Andreas - it was very similar, yet better in every way. That is what I would hope for.

WoW the most for me - a bit over 2400 hours.

Everything else kind of pales in comparison, but I've played a whole lot of the GTA's (over 100 hours each most likely), Starcraft 2 must also be in the hundreds of hours range right now.

Misread that as math for some strange reason... Both Maths and Baths are totally manly.

Reinstall your OS. That's the first thing you should consider when any weird performance problem occurs.

@Verb4tim: It isn't exiting the game really, it's more like Quake Live. The speed of you getting into match is the same or even faster than if the server browser was just one of the in-game menus.

This is taken very out of context. The game has a server browser in Battlelog.

It's fine, but the cost you pay for buying a built PC is too high in my opinion. It's much cheaper to buy the parts separately yourself.

If the only high performance computing you want to do is gaming, then an Intel Core i5 2500 is a good processor. Most expensive graphics cards will do (buying the most powerful ones will just alow you to crank up AA and increase longevity of the card, you should check out some benchmarks that show framerates of popular games, that's the best and easiest way to choose). 4GB of RAM should be enough, although some games may start to require 6GB in the future. It doesn't really matter though, since it's very easy and cheap to put an extra 2GB of RAM into a new PC. In general, the more applications you like to run at the same time, the more RAM you need.

My current gaming PC cost 550GBP, I could have spent ~600-650 and gotten a more powerful graphics card, but other than that it's more than enough, Crysis 2 still runs on high settings at 1920x1200.

I can run it on a laptop that has an i5 (not a low voltage one) and Intel HD Graphics 3000. It Runs on 1366x768 resolution at low settings at 60 fps. I haven't tried, but you might get a playable framerate if you set shaders to medium and at that point the game would look really good (the difference in increasing the other settings is not as immediately apparent).

Borderlands, lots of build up and nothing happened, not even a cliffhanger.
