The 360 controller with a fixed D-PAD is what they should go for in my opinion. The shape itself is pretty much perfect. I never really liked the DualShock, my hands feel cramped while using it, but there's no way it's going to change.
Attack is what people usually go for first, unless they are doing some interesting upgrade-centric tactic. Shield is something you very rarely see, usually only in long macro games.
I would pay twice that if I really liked it and thought it would improve my home. Art and memorabilia is the stuff that makes an empty room into a comfortable living space.
Filled it out for you. I do think that the quality of these systems highly depend on your location right now, so people can have very different experiences with them.
New Vegas is better than Fallout 3's main story and better than its DLC. It is buggy, but the story and characters are much more enjoyable. I haven't played DA2, but from what everyone has been saying, New Vegas is probably better than that one as well.
I'm 19 and I see buying myself a Street Fighter II or Pinball arcade someday. It would look great and it would be fun when friends come over. It's not good value at all, but it's something fun to have (art isn't great value either if you look at the uses, but it's still nice to have).
Great read, and brilliant game as well. I didn't have the issues you had, even the buggy was ok, even though I understand why people hate that thing. You should really make another post when you get through EP1 and 2, they push the story and characters forward while improving on the gameplay in a multitude of ways.
