Im in bronze, rank 8 or 9 it depends how much I play, but it seems to work OK for me. I've beat the last few slightly favoured players I've played anyway

I've literally just finished it. I still don't know how I feel about the ending. I thought John was a great character with ever better voice acting and a cool look, and the ending took me totally by suprise. But at the same time as thinking it was awesome, I was also completely gutted because I don't want to play as Jack! The fact fact that he looks like a woman doesn't help either. I'll have to give him a couple of hours, at least do the revenge thing and then decide. I'd go back and play as John straight away and not even thinking about it, but knowing that he's going to die in one missions time will stick in my head and probably ruin it.
ARGH! After all the stuff you do as him! Really ballsy move by Rockstar. I don't think I can play as Jack purely because my horse, that I've had since you first meet West Dickins, is dead. Don't even care that I've got the deed and could get another one, it just isn't the same.
I thought MW and to a lesser extent MW2 really made you pause when they killed off playable characters, but this is a whole new level.
