A little over $100 CAD for a pair of regular city shoes I wear for the office and when it's not snowing outside. That was last year and they are starting to break down a bit. I walk a lot. I buy new shoes every 2-3 years I think.

Boots on the other hand, I splurged $300 CAD on a great pair of winter boots and these things are amazing. I go hiking and snow-shoeing a lot in the winter so I needed something good.

This framerate thing is an issue to less than 1% of people playing this game on PC.

No offence but I would think it's a lot more than that. It's a bummer for people who have a higher refresh rate monitor. Honestly, if you buy a "higher end" monitor these days it's either going to be 4K or have a higher than 60Hz refresh rate, sometimes both. That and it also affects people who want to disable V-Sync because it often adds in input lag.

@mikemcn: Honestly, if your game logic is dependent on frame rate, I think the best course of action would be to cap the frame rate at an engine level. I know most people have 60Hz monitor but now that higher refresh rate monitors are becoming more mainstream, I think developers have to account for that.

I still think the best thing to do is not have your game logic tied to the frame rate but I get that it's not the easiest thing to implement, especially if you're building on top of an older engine.

I think it's time for Bethesda to scrap their old engine and start from scratch.

Frame limit it to 60, you can't really see more frames than that anyways.

Not if you have a monitor with a higher refresh rate.

I tried playing Skyrim the other day with a 144Hz monitor. The framerate was actually locked at my monitor's refresh rate and not a hard lock at 60. I had an interesting experience.

I get that when Skyrim was first released, monitors that have a higher refresh rate weren't as common but these days they are and I'm hoping Fallout 4 doesn't have the same issue.

I'm more of a herbal tea guy but if I had to choose between green and black, I'll take black tea.

I think going with either Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller is a no-brainer. They are widely supported by most PC games and are great controllers all around. I personally prefer the Xbox 360 controller because it's compatible out of the box with Steam OS but if you only plan on using Windows, I'd go with the Xbox One since it's a better controller (in my opinion)

@mysterious0bob: A fully animated movie from Blizzard's CGI team would have been much better in my opinion.

I'm still looking forward to this movie.

For some reason, I didn't expect to see Overwatch characters in Heroes of the Storm. Makes perfect sense when you think about it.

Also, the Arena map totally sounds like ARAM from League of Legends and I'm all for that.

@mrcaptain: With the regular non-deluxe version you get Artanis for free for Heroes of the Storm (who is a pretty fun character in that game) and a set of prologue missions that you can play right now.

You get a bunch of other stuff with the deluxe version like portraits, card backs for Hearthstone, pets or whatever for WoW and Diablo 3 and a void seeker mount in Heroes of the Storm.

Yup. Even thought Starcraft games are multiplayer focused, they come with damn good single player campaigns. I played a bunch of multiplayer when Wings of Liberty first came out but I don't plan on doing any of it with Legacy of the Void. I love the game but I find the multiplayer way to stressful. Same reason I stopped playing Ranked in Heroes of the Storm even thought I still play Quick Match a whole lot.
